Comacchio to Ferrara

My reddish suntan is really starting to make a notable appearance today. The weather has been very beautiful and there were a lot of chances to experience the Italian outdoors today.
Biking across the countryside (44.5 miles or 71.6 km) in this part of the country, while not the very beautiful Tuscany scenery, has been very interesting and it has it's own charm.
At times it seemed like it was snowing, but then I realized all the white fuzz going up my nose and in my mouth was from the surrounding trees. The Po River we followed was full of the fluffy stuff.

I also saw a waterfall, a wild peacock, a rainbow around the sun, and maybe even a crop circle.

Some of today's trip was along minor roads, but some was along bike paths which I really enjoyed (no traffic!).

  2. Not only what does it mean, but where the heck is the pot of gold in a loop like that?
